we have been very excited about the progress in our garden. As the pictures show it is half done. The grass is being laid this week where you can now see soil and then we need to plant some plants to finish it off! I wish I had my mum or sister Andrea here who know so much about plants. Lets hope we get some good advice at the garden centre. Anyway, as long as there's some nice green plants and flowers in pots I'm happy. Its a huge improvement to what it looked like before. We'll soon be hosting a garden bbq party to show it off!

Baby room
Well, the family in Holland will be pleased that work has begun in the baby room! In Holland the baby room receives lots of attention and is all finished in good time. On our last visit we were asked so often if the baby room was done that on our return we thought we better get started! We have painted it a lovely soft green colour, unfortunately difficult to tell from the picture. We bought the changing table that you can just see but the room is now already packed with toys, chairs, clothes etc that we've been so kindly given. I can't believe how much stuff you can have for a small baby! Chris is having lots of fun trying the things that make sounds and we have already tested one of the swinging chairs out on 6 month old elizabeth who fell asleep within minutes so we'll keep that one!
More holidays....
Yes, my excuse for not blogging sooner as I intended to do is that we had another holiday to go on to! This time a week on the greek island of cephalonia. We has a lovely time just enjoying sun, sea, reading, good food and being together (last time before being 2+1!) Poor Chris loves his usually much needed hols but then returns to work finding 100 emails to get through. So much for a break! On the other hand I can't complain as this is my last full time week at work. The next four weeks I am only working a part time taking holidays etc before officially finishing the end of June. Yippie!!
